50,000 Electric Vehicle Charging Stations Will Accept Crypto Payments

A report confirmed, In next three year 50,000 Electric Vehicle Charging Stations will offer payments in Cryptocurrency like Bitcoin & Ethereum.

Two payments firms confirmed that they did a partnership with Electric Vehicle Charging Stations in Europe to help these stations to accept payment in Cryptocurrency mode like Bitcoin or Ethereum.

This partnership happened between Irish e-commerce and mobile payment solutions firm HIPS Payment Group Ltd and Vourity.

Vourity is a Swedish firm that provides payment solutions at Electric Vehicle Charging Stations.

Reports say that it is not a sudden implementation partnership. This partnership will not give results before 3 year.

Since they will start to implement their working protocol system from November 2021 and then will grow their crypto business day by day with integration of their services to other new EV charging stations.

Since the firm didn’t reveal which cryptocurrencies they will use in this payment solution, but according to hints and ideas by Vourity, Ethereum will be used in the initial phase. And after that they can add another Cryptocurrency.

Here use of Ethereum in the payment system is much more acceptable than any other coin, report says. Because most of the experts in the crypto market believed that the movement by all big companies in Car and vehicles industry is totally based on efficiency.

Ethereum will move towards updating in the consensus from proof-of-work to proof-of-stake mechanism, so it will no longer remain responsible for high carbon footprint.
