On 13 August, the team confirmed the date. According to IOHK, chances to bring a smart contract feature will happen on 12 September. However this is the expected date and it may vary by one or two days.

As we all know very well that the AlonzoPurple fork on Cardano Testnet work is almost over and the team confirmed that they are able to start their work on mainnet. So Cardano’s main network will go through Alonzo fork, which will enable smart contract functionality on Cardano.

After the Alonzo Hardfork via HFC event, developers will be able to create their own decentralized application on Cardano network easily.

Charles Hoskinson also allowed a session where everyone was open to ask anything about this event that will happen in the incoming time.

In the session he also said that people will always criticize others but the people who are genuine for their work, will remain engaged.

“Dogs bark, but the caravan shall forever move on in one direction”

In the present time, this news is making ADA to pump significantly. ADA coin is currently at trade price $2.21.
