GameStop announced to accept crypto payments

GameStop company announced that it will accept payments in crypto also to step with the trend of crypto adoption.

In the present time, crypto adoption is at a tremendous level. On one side people are using crypto as an investment asset than on the other side, there are those people who are using crypto assets for payment purposes. This increasing adoption of crypto assets in payment purposes, forcing big companies to adopt crypto payment methods to grab better sales in their services.

GameStop established a partnership with the Gemini-backed payment network firm Flexa. Under the partnership with Flexa, GameStop will accept crypto payments including BTC, ETH, and LTC with the popular meme coins Shiba and Doge.

The announcement by GameStop through Twitter confirmed that GameStop is going with the crypto trend with the support of payments in  Axie Infinity Shards (AXS), Smooth Love Potion (SLP), and Decentraland ($MANA) like trendy crypto assets.

Flexa network helping services

In the last few days, we heard much about the Flexa network to add support for better Digital assets. Recently, Flexa added support for the native token of the Cardano project.

Right now Flexa has merchant support at more than 40,000 locations in the United States.

This payment network has close hands with Regal. Regal Cinemas is a movie theatre operator of more than 500 locations and 7,000 screens in the United States. And in the last month, Regal and Flexa did a partnership.

Nexon America

A few days ago, video game company Nexon America also announced that it will support crypto-based payments.

However, the company confirmed that they will only accept payments in crypto but not hold crypto assets.

These things are enough to show how big companies are now able to understand the significance of crypto assets more than a trading asset.
