Tag Heuer will support crypto payment

Swiss luxury watchmaker company Tag Heuer jumped in crypto support to step with the modern payment methods & increasing crypto adoption.

Tag Heuer is a luxury watchmaker company that designs, manufactures, and markets watch and fashion accessories. This company also has hands in eyewear and mobile phones manufactured under license by other companies and carrying the TAG Heuer brand name. This Switzerland-based company is a popular fashion brand because of the huge pollution of this world.

On 19 May, Tag Heuer announced its crypto payment support initiative through a press release. The company will accept Cryptocurrencies via its official US website.

For the same company established a partnership with crypto payment network firm Bitpay.

Under the support of Bitpay, this Swiss watch company will accept 12 Cryptocurrencies, which include Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, and some US dollar-pegged stable coins.

This Company is under the plan of rollout phase, which will allow customers to pay at least as much as they want to spend but they will have a limit to pay $1000. 

Web3 initiative of Tag Heuer 

This watch company is also planning to get into NFTs and Web3. But the company will first make sure whether these things will be really useful under the standards of the company for its users or not.

Frédéric Arnault, CEO of TAG Heuer, said:

“As a luxury brand, we had to ensure that our entrance into Web3 would meet our standards of excellence, and thanks to our nimble teams in-house and with the support of BitPay we can dive into this new financial world in the best way possible.”

These things are clear hints that crypto & blockchain technology is no longer limited to trade & Investment purposes, instead, big companies are looking to introduce unique use cases with the use of this innovative tech industry to bring a better user experience.
