Two Ukraine’s Tech Retail Companies Accepting Bitcoin: Report

Techno Їzhak and Stylus added Bitcoin payment support for merchant & retail customers via the help of WhitePay.

Ukraine is a small country in the world, which has room for the crypto & blockchain industry. In late February 2022, the Russian military attacked the Ukrainian army which resulted in a very bad situation for Ukraine. However, Russia vs Ukraine war is almost over but still, Ukraine fears that Russia may attack again. During the Russia vs Ukraine war, the whole crypto Industry supported Ukraine against Russia.

Obozrevatel reported that Two big tech retail Ukrainian companies Techno Їzhak and Stylus announced accepting Bitcoin payment alongside the traditional payment options. Both these two companies will accept BTC payments with the help of WhitePay.

Whitney is a payment provider platform and it is a subsidiary of the European crypto trade platform WhiteBit. Besides the online Bitcoin payments, customers will be allowed to pay at brick-and-mortar stores, which are available at more than 100 locations.

According to reports, these are the initiatives by the company toward crypto adoption because of the regulatory clarity on the crypto industry. A few months ago, Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky signed the Virtual Currency bill. 

Crypto industry helps Ukraine 

No doubt that Russia vs Ukraine war is over but still the whole crypto industry supported Ukraine against the Russian military invasions.

Many crypto investors showed their support to Ukraine & donated significant amounts of crypto funds. Even Russian citizen, Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum blockchain, donated to Ukraine against Russia.

Between February to April, Ukraine collected more than $100 million worth of crypto assets & NFTs collectibles to help the Ukrainian army to provide Armor, helmets & medicines.
