Ethereum founder plans to move NFTs on Layer 2

Vitalik Buterin seems much interested in the NFTs trend and his current proposal gives indication that the trend of the NFTs market is not going to stop soon. 

No doubt, in the present time NFTs are in trend and almost every platform wants to go with the NFTs based projects directly and indirectly. Here Vitalik is interested in pushing the NFTs platform to the next level.

Vitalik Buterin, founder of Ethereum, tweeted about his proposal. Vitalik planned to shift the NFTs into  Layer 2 ecosystem. This will end up with the feature to ” cut the fee”. 

But Vitalik also claimed that it needed “good cross roll-out portability”. 

Vitalik Buterin, attached a link with that tweet, where he shared his proposal on how they will integrate on the L2 ecosystem. 

Vitalik Buterin also explained through the proposal that there are some downsides of this plan. 

First one downside, explained by him for the all existing EVM, is the entire ecosystem to a single rollup while there is uncertainty about how the rollup will graduate beyond such features’ ‘.

Second downside is The NFT ecosystem, that may well grow too big for one single rollup to handle safely.

While on the third downside, Vitalik says that No part of the NFT ecosystem (or entire) is a closed-off world. And they will need to interoperate with other parts of the Ethereum ecosystem. This is basically a part of his concern for “good cross roll-out portability”.
