Jack Dorsey is Mining Bitcoin. Read this full report

Jack Dorsey seems much eager with the Bitcoin mining-based work on a better ecosystem and a better-decentralized network to allow the world to mine bitcoin easily.

Jack Dorsey is the former CEO of Twitter. Reportedly he left Twitter because he was willing to give his full time in Bitcoin and blockchain-based development works. Right now he is working fully with Block company (formerly Square) to do huge development works in the blockchain industry.

In the last week of January 2022, Jack posted a video on Twitter of his mining hardware and showed that he did mining of bitcoins at his home.

Through the tweet, Jack also shared the capacity of the mining hardware that is scoring around 100 TH/s hash rate. We can see highly positive response from the community about such a highly efficient Bitcoin miner.

During the interview with MicroStrategy CEO Micheal Saylor on “Bitcoin for Corporations”, Jack shared his efforts to use the mining hardware to mine bitcoins and directly use it to buy things in real life.

Jack said:

“You know, I just fired up an Antminer in my house, and it’s just chugging away, sending all this bitcoin to Slush Pool which then sends it to my Muun wallet, and I can take my Muun wallet and I can go out, and I can buy a taco. The fact that I can do that, it’s incredible.”

In the interview, Jack also appreciated the Bitcoin technology and also praised the non-existence of any founder or CEO of the Bitcoin blockchain network.

*Bitcoin is a reminder of the early internet, it’s extremely principled, open-source, transparent, with no single leader or creator.”

Earlier this in Q4 2021, Jack announced that they are working on the decentralized Bitcoin mining network to allow every person in the world to easily mine bitcoin. And also he claimed that they are working to make it simple just like plugging the GPU hardware into a computer motherboard.
