Tesla CEO once again passed Doge’s supportive tweet to increase the confidence of Dogecoin lovers in the digital assets industry.
Elon Musk is a popular name among the richest person in the world. He is the owner of multiple tech companies, in which Tesla & SpaceX are highly popular companies. Elon is a big supporter of Dogecoin. He is supporting Dogecoin since 2020. In May 2021, Tesla CEO openly supported doge during at “Saturday Night Live” event.
On 6 July, Elon Musk responded to the news of “The Boring Company” accepting Dogecoin payments for rides. Elon said that he will keep supporting wherever it will be possible.
Allegations against Elon Musk on “Dogecoin Ponzi scheme”
Last month, a public lawsuit was initiated against Tesla’s CEO. Through the lawsuit, Plaintiff claimed that Elon took the advantage of his popularity to promote Dogecoin, which was his ponzi scheme.
However, later Elon responded to these allegations indirectly via an interview and said that he is talking about Dogecoin because people want that Elon Musk should talk about it. Elon also said that he never encouraged anyone to invest in Dogecoin.
At that time Elon said:
“I just know a lot of people who are not that wealthy who, you know, have encouraged me to buy and support Dogecoin. I’m responding to those people.”
These are showing that Elon is making the basic level of Dogecoin adoption strong. And probably Dogecoin will be available as the alternative payment option in the Tesla company.
Once, through an SEC filing, it was found that Tesla company confirmed that company is highly optimistic about cryptocurrencies, and in the future company may accept payments in particular cryptocurrencies.
At that time, speculations started in the crypto industry that Tesla may accept Dogecoin as a payment option. Tesla currently only selling its some Merchs on Dogecoin.
