Ethereum co-founder Vogelsteller claims Hoskinson of Cardano built nothing for Ethereum

Fabian Vogelsteller criticized Cardano’s founder for not contributing to the Ethereum blockchain project.

Ethereum is the second biggest crypto asset after Bitcoin, probably doesn’t require any introduction. Vitalik Buterin, Anthony Di Iorio, Charles Hoskinson, Mihai Alisie, Amir Chetrit, Gavin Wood, Joseph Lubin, & Jeffrey Wilcke are the co-founders of the Ethereum blockchain. In 2014, Hoskinson was removed by the Ethereum team after a dispute over whether the project should be commercial or nonprofit. In short, Hoskinson spent less than a year on the Ethereum project and after that, he worked on another crypto blockchain network Cardano.

On 29 April 2023, Ethereum co-founder Fabian Vogelsteller took to Twitter with a series of tweets and alleged that in reality, Hoskinson was never an Ethereum co-founder and also he did nothing for the Ethereum blockchain.

Cardano founder Hoskinson responded to this opinion and he said that he is happy to see the opinion on his contribution to the Ethereum project. He also said that he will be happy to see the people behind the Cardano blockchain to get a better response.

In response, Vogelsteller said that he doesn’t mean that Hoskinson doesn’t have potentially better ability & skill to work and his opinion was based upon the code contribution.

Further many crypto Twitter users showed their support for Cardano’s founder and pointed out that Hoskinson did his best in the initial phase of the Ethereum blockchain journey.

Cardano

Cardano is the 7th-ranked crypto asset by market cap. Hoskinson launched this blockchain as a commercial network and never tried to get support from any Venture capitalists (VCs), which is not common in other crypto projects.
