Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Shared his opinion on Bitcoin and explained how Bitcoin can play an important role against financial restrictions.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is an American politician, environmental lawyer, and activist who promotes anti-vaccine misinformation. He is an independent candidate in the 2024 US presidential election, which is to be held in Nov 2024. Kennedy supports Bitcoin and in the crypto sector, he grabbed huge popularity & support because of his Bitcoin-friendly statements.
During a fireside chat at ETHDenver 2024, Kennedy dragged the indirect discussion of Canadians’ “Freedom Convoy” protests against COVID-19 restrictions.
As we know, the Canadian government imposed several restrictive actions against the protestors and also banned & restricted the bank accounts of protestors & protest supporters. At the time, Bitcoin played an important role in Canadians’ fight against the government.
By addressing the Freedom Convoy, Kennedy said that if a government has the power to block your bank account then they have the power to enslave people easily.
According to the US presidential election candidate, people should have transactional freedom just like freedom of expression.
Kennedy added that all such types of crucial things acted as a catalyst to think about Cryptocurrencies as an alternative option.
According to Kennedy Crypto, in particular Bitcoin, is the best store of value and his thinking about Bitcoin is supportive because rich people get huge benefits over poor & low wealth people.
Furthermore, Kennedy said that he is aware that the Fed prints unlimited amounts of money & how it uses monopoly power via the banking system but opposite to it Bitcoin is more better as a freedom.
