Crypto meme trend & scams
In 2024, thousands of meme tokens were created daily on the Solana, Base, and Binance Smart Chain (BSC) networks.
It is noticeable that the majority of retail crypto investors have been investing in meme tokens, over flagship crypto assets, with the hope of making a huge profit from a small investment in a short period.
Many bad actors are exploiting the meme token trend to deceive people by launching scam tokens, such as pump-and-dump or rug-pull schemes.
