Dutch football club PSV Accepting Whole Sponsorship in Bitcoin

A professional Dutch Football club, PSV Eindhoven planned to get the all sponsorship payouts in Bitcoin. For this they established a partnership with Anycoin Direct.

Recent sports industry’s particular club’s activities indicate that soon the whole sport industry will get into crypto space directly. In the last week, A football club joined by Messi and got huge numbers of PSG crypto tokens as an agreement payment with the club. Now another football team announced their plan to get paid in Bitcoin for their sponsored activities.

Dutch professional football club Philips Sport Vereniging ( PSV) announced their partnership with a company Anycoin Direct. The company will help the Club to get whole sponsorship payouts in Bitcoin. 

In the press release, Club stated that 

“With sights set on the future, PSV decided to use the service of Anycoin Direct in a unique way. The entire sponsorship amount will be paid in bitcoin.”

So after this decision of PSV, they became the world’s first football club to accept the whole sponsored payments in Bitcoin. 

Any Direct is a crypto broker company which serves their services in the European region. And as per reports, Club & Crypto broker company will remain under partnership for next two seasons. In the press release, they also said that this partnership will bring huge crypto awareness for the people who don’t know much about crypto, especially Bitcoin. 

Few local reports claimed that this partnership is under the deal of $480,000 per year. 

Lennert Vlemmings, COO of Any Direct, stated in a post about this partnership 

“As a technology company from the Brainport area we are very excited to be working with PSV. The payment in Bitcoin marks the next step for the adoption of cryptocurrency in the EU.” 

So clearly Lennert believes their move to work for the PSV will bring an adoption revolution in the European Union.
