Metaverse is a virtual reality-based advanced project, which can bring the virtual world into reality. However no real Metaverse projects are in existence but still, development works are going on rapidly under the collaboration of big high tech companies and other blockchain projects. However we are in the initial phase and still thinking that Metaverse may bring next-level entertainment services closer to the hearts of people but these presumptions are not simple, as per the current situation in different non-entertainment sectors.

Just a couple of days ago, Nissan and Toyota, Japanese automakers, announced that they are entering into the Metaverse race to provide virtual services for the customers & personnel in Metaverse.

With the Metaverse platform, these two companies will organize events and programs in the virtual world with a high-level virtual reality experience. In reality, its Metaverse will be for building virtual customer service offices, to interact with customers easily.

Nikkei Asia, a Japanese newspaper, noted that both of these two card producer companies will offer immersive exhibitions of their cars through the use of virtual reality (VR) and it will happen because of the partner video game developer startup platform VRChat.

On one side Nissan will support the development works on creative virtual rooms for the clients and Toyota will focus on bringing remote working environments, creating offices for its personnel. In the virtual world, they will talk in technical-related conversations.

A spokesperson of this company noted that people were facing issues with communication due to a coronavirus-like a pandemic, so it will help to engage people together more likely in real meetings.

Spokesperson added:

“As more people are working from home because of the coronavirus, we are offering young employees and others communication options within the company.”

Metaverse trend & Meta

In Q4 Facebook announced to rebrand its name from Facebook to Meta. After the decision of Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg to change the company name, many big companies started to give their efforts to Metaverse-related projects.

According to experts’ point of view, Metaverse-like projects can’t get better success without crypto & blockchain projects. In the present time Decentraland, TheSandbox-like crypto projects are working to provide virtual land services to deploy virtual worlds for Metaverse.
