YouGov poll report says that the majority of the US population don’t want Bitcoin as a legal tender. But adults show huge support for bitcoin.
A poll has been conducted by the YouGov on citizens of the United States to know what people think about Bitcoin to adopt as a legal currency, like El Salvador.
Poll suggests that 27% U.S. residents are in the support of Bitcoin to adopt as legal currency.
YouGov, a data analytics firm, reports that 11% of the respondents are showing full strong support for Bitcoin to adopt as a currency. While 16% are supporting at a small level, that means they are not against Bitcoin to adopt as legal currency.
In this poll, a total of 4,912 people participated and obviously most of them were in opposition of Bitcoin being recognized as a legal tender.
It should be noticed that, Respondents which are at age 25-34 are strongly supporting Bitcoin as legal tender. But those 57-75 aged people (43%) of the US are only strongly in the opposition of Bitcoin.

Data of youGov also shows that, those who are making $80,000 annual income are supporting Bitcoin as legal tender by 21% and those who are getting $40,000 are supporting Bitcoin adoption by 11%.
And those people who were making less than $40,000 strongly opposed Bitcoin to be recognized as legal tender.
