Chivo Bitcoin wallet crosses all Banks of El Salvador

The President of El Salvador claimed that the Bitcoin wallet “Chivo Wallet ” crossed all banks of El Salvador in terms of users.

On 7 September, the government of El Salvador launched Chivo wallet, Official Bitcoin wallet of the country, to make Bitcoin law rollout better and easier to implement throughout the nation. Due to huge volume of users registration, Chivo wallet faced some technical issues, but recent records shows that Chivo wallet is not going to stop even with some bugs & errors.

On 26 September, Nayib Bukele, President of El Salvador, tweeted about the success of Chivo Wallet. Nayib tweeted that Chivo wallet crossed the total 2.1 million users of El Salvador. And 2.1 million users for Chivo wallet is more than the total numbers of the customers of Commercial or non-commercial banks of El Salvador. 

So through the yesterday tweet, Nayib Bukele didn’t only tried to show the success of Chivo wallet, but also he tried to show that with the use of Bitcoin & Bitcoin Digital wallet, people can easily reach their bank accounts by sitting at home. 

Earlier this, most of the people & organization criticized Nayib Bukele for the decision to adopt Bitcoin as a legal tender. And also no one thought about the rapid adoption rate of Bitcoin at such a high scale, besides trading purposes. But here El Salvador proved how we can change and achieve those high level financial services & infrastructure easily with blockchain technology based crypto.
