Netflix will make web series on Bitfinex 120,000 Bitcoin hack

The cinema giant Netflix is planning to work on a new documentary based on the incident of the Bitfinex 2016 hack, in which the exchange lost around 120,000 Bitcoins.

Netflix is an American cinema company, which supports the streaming of media and also produces movies & web series. At present, Nexflix has a 7.9% population of the world under its services of cinema networks. 

On 11 February, Netflix announced a documentary series on the Bitfinex hack 2016. 

Netflix explained that it will be based on the married couple, who were allegedly involved in Bitcoin Laundering and Bitcoin was stolen from the Bitfinex exchange. 

“series about a married couple’s alleged scheme to launder billions of dollars worth of stolen cryptocurrency in the biggest criminal financial crime case in history.”

So the announcement by Netflix confirmed that they will revolve their story around the arrested couple, which used many ways to make the Bitcoin white and clean by use of Gold, NFTs, and other online social media accounts. 

Earlier this, Netflix announced to work on the web series on a founder of Crypto exchange, who died with the private key of all funds of exchange users. 

Crypto to web series and vice versa 

The hack on the Bitfinex exchange took place in 2016 and now this matter is in light because of the success of the investigation agency to detain the two individuals with 94,000 Bitcoins. This is a better opportunity for the entertainment industry to get a better idea to make an interesting web series to make Money. 

Here not only the cinema industry is collecting ideas from the Crypto industry but also bad actors of the Crypto Industry are taking advantage of the popularity of web series. 

In 2021, we saw how a person created Netflix’s inspired web series Squid token and stole all the funds of the buyers with his BSC network-based Ponzi Squid Token.
