Economist Steve Hanke said Paraguay’s government is afraid of Adoption of bitcoin because they can see what the El Salvador government is facing because of adoption in this early stage.
Johns Hopkins University economist Steve Hanke expressed his point of view on Paraguay’s government decision on bitcoin adoption.
Because of a tweet by Carlos Rejala, many American analysts assumed that Paraguay would also Legalise Bitcoin as a legal tender just like El Salvador.
But right now Carlos Rejala said that people are assuming that we are going to Legalise Bitcoin and make it use in the payment system.
We never tried or planned to Legalise Bitcoin and Adoption for payment purposes. We are only making crypto bill law so that people can buy and sell Cryptocurrency assets.
