After the adoption of crypto payments, AMC is ready to expand its entertainment network in the crypto space through its new ideas.

In the last few months, the AMC Entertainment theatre network got huge popularity in the crypto space through their plan & adoption of flagship crypto assets including DogeCoin. Now AMC is moving toward another step.

In a recent interview with CNBC, Mr Adam Aron, CEO of AMC talked about the plans of the AMC company in the crypto space.

However, the AMC CEO didn’t reveal any solid points about their plans for the company but they tried to indicate that they are going to do something big.

Aron added

“We’ve made a lot of noise in the last few months about getting hyperactive in cryptocurrency.”

Further, Aron indicated that they may bring their own crypto asset to accept payments for their services. Aron claimed that recently they introduced one of the dozens of ideas. And also there are many reasons to get success with a new crypto asset.

“There are a lot of reasons why AMC could be a successful issuer of cryptocurrency as well as a redeemer of cryptocurrency”

AMC entry In Crypto

AMC Entertainment started to indicate its interest in the crypto space & blockchain industry in August 2021. First, AMC announced that they will accept Bitcoin Payments to offer their services but also confirmed at the same time that they don’t have any idea how they will introduce it.

But the current situation of AMC is showing that the company is fully eager and excited to dive into this crypto industry with new ideas.

Legality issues on new crypto of AMC

No doubt, it is a great option & plan for AMC to release their crypto but it is worth noting that it is not going to be easy for this United States listed company.

Already Facebook-like companies are waiting for their stable coin to launch, so probably AMC will also face the same kind of problem or they will need to go into partnership with another independent crypto firm officially.
