Bitfinex Plans to Support Lightning Network for StableCoin Tether

Bitfinex a Major Cryptocurrency exchange platform is looking forward to launching the USDT stablecoin which is currently under its sister firm Tether via its Lightning Network (LN) reported on the 31st of May.

As per the current reporting, Paolo Arduino the firm’s Chief Technology Officer confirmed that they have planned to launch USDT on it’s Lightning Network this year.

And so as to pursue its sole objective the firm has reportedly joined the RGB to outsource its development project.

According to the GitHub project, the RGB is an open source non-profit firm that is completely free for now and it’s found developing some of the coolest things out there with the firm participating with them.

The company’s CTO also bought to the notice that BitFinex also is showing interest in the further development of Lightning Networks.

All this has already proved that the firm already had such plans since the time of its initial release of Tether back in April of 2017.

It has also been reported that the company has announced its partnership with EOS parent company Block.one just as to release its Stablecoin over the EOS Blockchain ecosystem.

In the meantime, it has also been noticed that social media giant Facebook is held in talks with a major United Nation based Crypto Exchange is as to brings in its long-rumored Stablecoin dubbed  As GlobalCoin.
