A survey noted that the majority of the people are waiting to see the crypto regulation in India before going with Investment.
A recent survey was conducted in India by the Times of India newspaper. The survey revealed many facts about what Indian people are thinking about crypto and crypto regulation.
According to the data of Survey, around 55.2% will not consider investing in crypto until the crypto regulation bill of India will come. While 26.8% of people will wait until the Indian government will introduce its crypto regulation bill to give legal status to this industry.
77.4% of respondents said that crypto-assets should be taxed under the securities assets trade rules. However, it is still a very big question in India to perfectly figure out the best category for crypto.
The majority of the respondents said that they are eagerly waiting to see a crypto bill in the Budget Session of Parliament.
Sidharth Sogan, the CREBACO founder, shared his stance on the expected crypto bill presence in the Budget Parliament session. He said that Cabinet members didn’t approved any crypto-related bill yet then how the budget session of the Indian parliament will present any bill regarding it. Perhaps he noted that in the Budget Session, there are chances that we will be able to see some crypto tax rules.
Of the respondents, 49% said that they will learn more about crypto so that they can invest with more confidence. While 39% of people said that they know very well about crypto.
Crypto bill of India
In the 2021 Q4 winter session of parliament budget session of India, finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman responded to every question on the crypto bill, however, the bill is still under a private domain.
There was a 99% surety that India will introduce its crypto bill in February of 2022 but reports found that there is some more need to work in the crypto to bring better regulation, so the crypto bill is under more work.
