SB 1236 is a bill that was initially designed by Arizona Senator Wendy Rogers. The legislation under this bill aims to eliminate the role of state-level regulatory bodies’ involvement in the crypto mining sector and also remove state tax from crypto mining companies.

The Arizona Governor indirectly noted that the control on energy consumption & related economic activity in the state is under the control of state regulators significantly but opposite of this reality proposed bill is trying to prohibit the state regulators from  “local policymaking concerning an emerging and potentially energy-intensive economic activity.”

According to Katie, bill represents blockchain definition with overloaded information.
