Popular meme coin-themed fast food restaurant owners said that they are getting huge numbers of crypto-supportive customers but not getting those customers who are using crypto payments.

In March of this year, a meme coin-themed fast food restaurant was started in Australia’s beachside city of Surfers Paradise. At the time, the restaurant grabbed huge popularity and also saw huge numbers of customers who were loving to pay in crypto assets.

Recently in an interview with popular crypto news media platform Cointelegraph, Australia’s based crypto theme-based fast-food restaurant owner Elijah said that they are not getting huge numbers of customers, which are loving to pay in meme coins.

According to Elijah, in the early phase of the restaurant startup, they were getting nearly $168 worth of crypto assets per week but nowadays only getting $34 worth of crypto assets.

Customers use mainly Shiba inu token, Dogecoin, & Cardano to pay at the fast food restaurant.

The restaurant owner stated:

“(Crypto payments) were more of an add-on feature. You generally don’t want to be using your crypto to make payments, or you’ll end up like that Bitcoin guy that bought the pizzas.”

Elijah also said that he usually advises people not to spend much crypto on food products and also disclosed that he added Crypto payment option only to grab popularity & create significant competition against McDonald, a global giant fast-food restaurant chain.

Elon Musk, Dogecoin, & McDonald
