Binance exchange noted that many Binance users are getting massive phishing scam messages. The chief executive officer notified such scams to the users.
Binance is a popular crypto exchange and this exchange is known for its pro-level crypto services. At present, Binance is standing at the number one position in the list of top crypto exchanges. This exchange always remains inclined to provide better services to the users, so that people always remain away from any type of scam.
A couple of days ago Changpeng Zhao, CEO of Binance exchange, wrote on Twitter that some bad actors are active to facilitate a huge phishing scam to the Binance users. Where Scammers are sending messages to cancel the transaction followed by a link.
Binance CEO also attached a screenshot of a message, which includes how scammers are trying to trick the users to take sudden action to go through the illusion to get into hacking of the account easily.
Through the tweet, Zhao suggested people always keep the bookmark of the Binance exchange instead of typing and visiting. And also suggested not to click any link.
Coinbase warning to users
Earlier, the US based Nasdaq listed public crypto exchange Coinbase exchange also warned its users against such kinds of scams, which are common.
Coinbase suggested every user remain from any kind of link and also suggested not to visit even those messages warns suggest “New login. Not you? disable at [URL]”.
SMS-related scams are a very common thing nowadays. In January of this year, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) warned people to remain away from any type of messages and don’t give any crypto payments anywhere, no matter from where that person is.
According to the data available by Chainalysis, a blockchain analytic platform, last year such phishing scammers grabbed $14 billion in Crypto assets in 2021.
