Under a partnership, Humanitarian organization CARE will push crypto related services & new blockchain development work in Latin America with Celo Network.
Humanitarian organization CARE announced their partnership with Celo. Celo Network is a decentralized platform which is based on the Decentralized finance concept. Celo network is known for their reliability & stability of the network.
In the press release, CARE announced that they will develop the first ever blockchain network platform in Latin America. But for now they will use the Celo Network because it is already much better, faster, cheaper & efficient.
They will use the Celo network to issue digital tokens. They will use celo’s cUSD coin to provide a service which will be based upon a voucher system for establishing a digitized process to enhance secure dissemination of aid to Ecuadorian women in need of health services.
CARE believes that traditional finance systems are not better because of their traceability & privacy issues. But here with new network innovative solutions, they will create a better stand.
Christian Pennotti, Senior Director of Care stated
“The benefits blockchain can provide are potentially tremendous. We’ve chosen to work with Celo not only because their technology is some of the best we’ve reviewed, but because they’ve built a thriving network of like-minded organizations,”
CARE also believes that this direct partnership with Celo will help them to raise a huge fund towards its mission with the intermediaries in disseminating funds.
Well this deal will result also in the enhanced use of cUSD coins. Earlier this year, Valora used the cUSD stablecoin for micro payments system in the Philippines through the use remittance app of Celo.
