A Crypto staking platform filed a case against Fireblocks for the loss of $70 million worth of ETH at their platform because of their negligence.

StakeHound, a stake platform, claimed that Fireblocks lost $70 million worth because of their own fault.

StakeHound filed a lawsuit against Fireblocks in the Tel Aviv District Court for losing approx $77M worth of ETH.

The Israeli publication Calcalist reported about this whole news recently, where they explained that StakeHound is taking action against the negligence of FireBlocks in their platform.

According to StakeHound, the security provider company which was the backbone for Fireblocks platform was negligent and due to this negligence they lost a big amount of money.

Which cannot be restored again.

And also StakeH claimed that it is a Biggest human error that we can’t think to happen in this way. And thus carelessness of Fireblocks employees resulted in loss.

Also one big allegation against Fireblocks team is, they failed to recover the private key and also they deleted it without any transparent reason which resulted in 38,178 ETH lost forever.

“This is not a simple situation where the private keys were simply lost. This resulted in a disaster and damage: The defendant irrevocably lost access to the plaintiff’s digital assets, which were deposited in an e-wallet provided by the defendant, causing the loss of 38,178 of the plaintiff’s ETH coins.”

The Fireblocks team also expressed their opinion about this huge loss. They said that they will investigate it in full detail and they will try their best to resolve the issue.

But along with it they said, we are not responsible for this loss. The loss of Ethereum is not any negligence by Fireblocks side. This is a mistake of users to not follow the guidance to use their platform.
