ChainLink will support Cardano network with its oracles network

Cardano announced a strategic partnership with Chainlink to get support of the ChainLink’s oracles network.

On 12 September, Alonzo Hardfork took place successfully on the Cardano mainnet. And Alonzo Hardfork enabled many features on the Cardano ecosystem, which is attracting a number of crypto platforms to develop and integrate their projects. In celebration and upcoming plans, the Cardano team organised a summit on 26 September, where they talked about the many projects and plans on Cardano like Djed Stablecoin and ChainLink.

On 26 September, in the Cardno Summit, Charles Hoskinson, CEO and founder of Cardano, announced that they established a strategic partnership with the Chainlink. 

As per announcement, ChainLink will integrate its Oracle network support in the Smart contract system of Cardano mainnet. 

The head of blockchain partnership at Chainlink, Niki Ariyasinghe, stated on this matter and said that the Oracle network has tremendous respect for Cardano. And also Niki added that they are highly respective toward the Cardano team, which is community inclined in nature.

Niki also praised the timing of Cardano Alonzo fork and said  that the timing of fork was nice because in the present time it was a needed feature on Cardano to engage with the space more perfectly.

“A lot of this comes down to timing. Cardano obviously has had an extended period where it had different drops of upgrades and the most recent is Alonzo – really about enabling smart contracts. So for us this is really like the right time to engage with the Cardano ecosystem”
