But now the latest news is coming from security firm PeckShield that 90% of the stolen funds have been returned by the hacker.

Hacker returned the fund through a multi signature wallet. Returned  total 5,152.6 ETH worth $17.6millions.

It is still unclear why the hacker returned the funds to the hacker.

Right now, the hacker owns around 606 ETH and probably he will take this amount of Ethereum for his own needs. And also the transaction details show that he is not going to return the rest of funds because he transferred this amount of Ethereum on an Ethereum mixture, TornadoCash.

This incident of Cream Finance is quite similar to the PolyNetwork attack, where hackers returned $611 million worth of crypto assets. And also refused any kind of offer by the poly team.
