An Indian couple organized a marriage reception with the help of Metaverse technology.

In the present time Metaverse is under huge heat. The majority of the tech companies are considering entering into the Metaverse-based business. The current situation is an initial phase for the Metaverse and probably the first completely developed version of Metaverse will be available at the end of this year or maybe at the beginning of next year. But still, even in this initial phase, people are taking advantage of the next level.

Dinesh Sivakumar Padmavathi and Janaganandhini Ramaswamy are an Indian couple. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic in the country, they failed to get married with guests involvement because of the restriction of no crowd-based events. But Padmavathi took the support of Metaverse and blockchain technology to do marriage and celebrate the reception.

Padmavathi is only 24 years old and known as a worker in the tech industry but Padmavathi is a crypto and blockchain enthusiast.

With the help of virtual reality, they organized their wedding and reception virtual to 2,000 people. The couple took the help of Tardiverse in the creation of a digital space dedicated to Hogwarts. It costs approximately $2,016 to develop this event virtually.

Besides the invitation to the guests, who were not available physically, couples were able to change their wearing outfits to what they liked. Even Ramaswamy’s late father was involved in the wedding reception, the biggest advantage to see the family, which is/are not in existence.

The couple convinced their parents for this event somehow and they successfully grabbed that level of remarkable memories that were even not able to get through physical world marriage directly with physical guests appearance.

Ramaswamy said:

From childhood, I’ve been working with robotics — and for the last year I’ve been working in blockchain and mining Ethereum.” He continued: “My family knows I’m into tech.”
