Dogecoin Creator says Doge will fix internet needs

Billy Markus stated that Dogecoin will play a dominant role in microtransactions.

Dogecoin is a popular meme coin. This coin took birth in the internet world with an experimental joke, according to the creators of the Dogecoin Project, but still, this coin is grabbing that level of attention that we can expect from a flagship asset, which has a better origin with better use cases like Ethereum, Solana, etc.

On 5 February, Billy Markus, a past Dogecoin developer, wrote on Twitter that Dogecoin will fix the limitations of the future internet by giving better backend support for micropayments transactions.

Through the tweet, Billy mentioned that he was drunk, obviously at the time of the tweet.

In this tweet of Billy Markus, Slumdog millionaire also tweeted that the Dogecoin developer is right with this statement.

Slumdog millionaire is a person, who is popularly known for his past decision to invest in Dogecoin because of Tesla CEO Elon Musk’s support and shout-out for Dogecoin.

At the time of writing this article, the price of Dogecoin is $0.1474 and this price is 3.12% high in the last 24 hours. However, this coin is 44% low over 90 days of time frame.

No doubt that Dogecoin is still a better option to make small payments but here we should remain aware that support for Dogecoin will further increase the price and that will result in huge costs like Ethereum and other crypto blockchain networks.

In May 2021, Dogecoin hit $0.7+ because of the shoutout of Elon Musk. The game turned negative for Dogecoin and also for the whole market when Elon announced to suspend Bitcoin from the payment options of Tesla.
