Eric Trump urged people to stay away from fake meme tokens claiming an association with his father, Donald Trump.

Eric Trump is the son of former U.S. President Donald Trump. Currently, Donald Trump is a leading U.S. presidential candidate, and it is expected that he will run in the upcoming election, slated for November 2024. To gain support from the crypto community, Trump has expressed strong backing for the crypto space and has directly urged people to vote for him if they want to see better regulatory rules and laws in the U.S. jurisdiction. Due to Trump’s inclination toward crypto, other presidential candidates are also voicing support for the crypto space and receiving significant backing.

As we reported earlier, Donald Trump Jr. announced that something big related to crypto and DeFi is coming, but he did not disclose whether it would be a new crypto token, project, or something else—leaving crypto enthusiasts in suspense.

In the latest developments, Donald Trump Jr. urged people to stay away from all old and new meme tokens claiming affiliation with Trump. Following his partial announcement of a crypto project, many unknown actors have launched multiple crypto tokens under the name “Trump Token.”

In his latest warning, Trump Jr. clarified that all crypto tokens associated with the Trump name are fake, and any official token name and release information will be announced only through his X (Twitter) account.

With this latest scam warning from Trump Jr., it is now confirmed that a new Trump meme token is indeed coming.
