eBay Denies the Rumors of Acceptance of Crypto, Bad News For Bitcoin

Bloomberg Reports, eBay’s Denial over the acceptance of Cryptocurrencies as one of there payments methods as per the reports shared in 14th of May.

There were the spectaculations since the company had released out the adds at the consensus conference held in New York City.

Which displayed “Virtual Currency. It’s Happening on eBay.”

There are exceptions that the week’s surge in Cryptocurrency which went unexpectedly and was mostly due to the hopes that the firm eBay was preparing to embrace the Cryptocurrencies.

To all these rumours eBay’s spokesperson directly had a voice over it and said,

“Cryptocurrency is not accepted as a form of payment on the eBay platform, nor is it the part of our payments strategy.”

But as per the news, this online marketplace already holds a section marked as Virtual Currency, where the customers can use the traditional monetary payments option for the purchase of Cryptos from the seller.

Excluding the eBay’s rumor, there are many more rumours out there like that of the TD Ameritrade which is now holding of a total estimate of  $1.3 trillion in assets itself and was seen testing Bitcoin (BTC) and Litecoin(LTC).

But regarding this The company’s head of digital assets Sunayna Tuteja said,

“Currently, we’re not. We have what we call paper Money, which is what our clients can try for trading strategies. It was a simulation. So there was no actual execution.”

Despite if certain denials some of the other brands have already confirmed that the first day of Consensus conference the topic was of The food markets and others which was confirmed as a launch partner with Spend which facilitates crypto transaction via the flex networks.
