Facebook Coin will Launch in Q2 of 2019
Facebook the largest social media network will launch its crypto coin. According to a report by the New York Times, the Facebook management team is working with cryptocurrencies exchange to launch the Facebook coin in Q2 of this year.
There are rumours that Whatsapp will come up with a stablecoin soon to send payments within the app. New York Times added that Facebook will use its coin on other platforms also Instagram and messenger. The three social networks have a user base of 2.7 Billion.
Facebook not give clear hints about who controls the supply and price of the coin. Blockchain technology is known as its decentralization nature however how Facebook coin deal with it is the main concern for Facebook now.
