Fetch.ai requested Binance to Investigate in $2.6M Hack
Fetch.ai company’s account got hacked by hackers, so Fetch.ai company requested Binance Exchange to investigate in this matter.
According to reports, Fetch.ai, which is an artificial intelligence lab based in Cambridge, faced an attack of hackers. Hackers hacked the crypto account of Fetch.ai. Hackers stolen funds worth approximately $2.6 million.
The Company raised a request regarding this matter toward Binance exchange to investigate because the hackers which hacked the account of Fetch.ai, used the Binance exchange. Hackers sold the hacked assets within an hour to a third party in the market.
This hack incident took place on 6 June, but Binance is getting this request to investigate in this matter at present time. Actually Fetch.ai filed a case in the UK’s court regarding this hack .The Hon’ble Court granted the request of the victim company. And the court ordered Binance Exchange to do deep research and track the hackers’ details. And also Binance is Ordered to freeze the accounts of hackers.
Binance’s team didn’t respond officially regarding this matter but surely they will take action regarding this hack. And also it has been seen by us that Binance Exchange helped the government authorities of the U.S many times. A top most recent case can be seen in the case of Ripple vs SEC, where Binance gives some mandatory detailed report to the Prosecutors related to the Ripple company’s transactions.
