Former Meta exec says Bitcoin will remain no. 1 for next 20 years and more

The co-founder of the Deim Association shared his stance on the future of the crypto market and noted that Bitcoin will remain at the top.

David Marcus, the co-founder of Deim Association and former Facebook executive, said that in the next 20 years and more Bitcoin will remain the dominant asset in the world and its value will keep increasing from time to time continuously. And Marcus believes that non exitence of any entity or agency operator of Bitcoin is a big reason to increase in its value.

“It’s become clear to me that #Bitcoin will be the one asset and L1 still around in 20+ years with increased compounding relevance over time.”

Marcus noted that Bitcoin proved its potential with its resistance to censorship against all the Centralized or cooperative Digital network systems. And also it will keep increasing with the addition of every new user, without getting challenged because of any other exchange or platform in terms of dominance in the short as well as long term.

However, Marcus believes that Ethereum will be able to continue to show its dominance in the crypto industry but he believes that it will be for the short term because low scalability issues are big challenges for this blockchain Network.

Marcus believes that Solana can do much better because in recent past years, the Solana protocol showed its potential to facilitate high-scale transactions with the help of its unique Proof-of-history consensus.

According to Marcus, he is not sure but the second position will not be held by Ethereum, it may be Solana or any other competitors.

” The #2 slot (for a different use case) is TBDll tbd. #Ethereum is in the lead for now, but #Solana and others nipping at their heels.”, Marcus said

According to experts, this statement of the Former Facebook Executive is quite true but here we should not forget that Ethereum has a better developer team and it will only work on scalability for the next 5-6 years, so here we should not pass any statement in advance because future includes innovations.
