Ripple’s CEO confirmed that his words are not enough to express his happiness over the support that Ripple grabbed in this critical situation.
Ripple is a San Francisco headquartered fintech company. This company provides global payment services with the help of XRP coin. Since Dec 2020, Ripple has been in huge legal hurdles under the jurisdiction of the US because of a dispute with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) over the nature of the XRP coin.
Recently in the XRP Las Vegas 2023 meeting, Ripple CEO Garlinghouse House saw a very big crowd of XRP supporters. To express happiness for this insane support, Ripple CEO took to Twitter & said that this community has stood by and supported Team Ripple as we have fought the good fight.
Through the tweet, Ripple CEO showed his happiness for such huge support from the crypto enthusiasts but at the same time he hinted that the current situation is very bad for him because of the XRP lawsuit.
The XRP Las Vegas 2023 event was organized by Bradley Kimes, the founder of Digital Perspective. This event was for two days & only for the XRP community.
Ripple vs SEC vs Coinbase
In Dec 2020, the US SEC initiated a lawsuit against Ripple & its executives over the nature of the XRP token and that lawsuit is still active in court. Ripple lawyers believe the lawsuit will over by the end of this year.
In March of this year, the US-based Coinbase crypto exchange received Wells notice over crypto staking services & some particular crypto assets trading, which allegedly falls under the securities asset category.
Reportedly, Ripple & Coinbase’s legal teams are in deep collaboration to give a better reply against the enforcement actions of the US SEC agency.
Recently Ripple Chief Legal Officer Stuart Alderoty met with Coinbase’s chief legal officer Paul Grewal.
