A Japanese crypto exchange Liquid faced an attack by hackers. Hackers steal around $80 million worth of crypto assets.
Hacking attacks on crypto platforms have become a common thing nowadays. A recent attack on PolyNetwork shows that how much chances of loss possible, while the hacker returned the fund because he was whitehat hacker. And also another last attack on DAO Maker platform faced an hacking attack on their contract system.

Japan’s global Liquid crypto exchange informed their followers that they faced an attack on their platform.
After the attack, team stated through a tweet
” we are sorry to announce that we are moving the funds in cold storage until all the Investigation has been done”
At present, the hacking attack was only confirmed by the liquid exchange but they didn’t reveal clearly how much they lost exactly.
But according to the cointelegraph news website, hackers stole around more than 107 BTC, 9,000,000 TRX, 11,000,000 XRP, and almost $60 million worth of ETH and ERC-20 tokens.
For now, Johnny from Kucoin exchange tweeted that they came to know about the incident that happened with Liquid and they blacklisted the used addresses in the hack attack.
For now all the deposits and withdrawals have been stopped by the Liquid exchange until all the Investigation is over and also they said that they will give an update regularly about the Investigation.
