Billy Markus said sorry for his past negative comment on Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson.
In 2021 Dogecoin grabbed huge popularity in the crypto industry because of the support of Tesla CEO Elon Musk. At that time, Doge dev’s team was not active but still, Musk’s support acted as a catalyst to boost Dogecoin price by more than 300 fold.
At that time, Charles Hoskinson, founder of Cardano & CEO of IOHK, criticised the Dogecoin project and said that it is no more than a joke.
As we know, two weeks ago, Doge fan Elon Musk acquired the Twitter platform and the price of Dogecoin surged significantly. Hoskinson proposed his idea to integrate Dogecoin as a sidechain on the Cardano blockchain, to bring high scalability supported Dogecoin transactions & new use cases.
Billy Markus, the co-founder of Dogecoin, responded to their proposal of Hoskinson and asked how suddenly Hoskinson changed his mentality over Dogecoin use cases.
On 8 November, Dogecoin co-founder responded to a tweet from Hoskinson and said that he always supports all those people who contribute to pushing crypto adoption.
“I do have respect for all those who are contributing to making crypto more useful and scale better,” Markus said.
Further said that he feels sorry for what he negatively commented on his past views on Dogecoin and also hopes that ADA secures better success.
Further Hoskinson responded and also he said sorry back to Dogecoin co-creator for his past negative comment on Dogecoin.
“Thanks, man. I appreciate it. I’m sorry that I said things that were also a bit hostile. We got this,” Hoskinson said.
