As per a CNBC report published on 23 September, the technology giant International Business Machine (IBM) opens to work with Facebook upon its newly dubbed Crypto Currency Libra Stablecoin.

As said by the IBM’s Blockchain services manager Jason Kelly the firm is looking forward to have a collaboration with Facebook for the further development of the new crypto currency concluding “blockchain as a team sport” adding further:

“Our clients are ready to work with [Facebook] and we’re ready to work with all of them to bring it together.”

To bring it to notice IBM has also created its own Blockchain platform, for which the company claims to provide greater transparency in terms of aspects like banking and supply chain management.

While Kelly has still not make it clear of IBM joining the Libra Association, though acknowledging Facebook’s entry in the Blockchain market.

While making it clear that he distances himself from Cryptocurrencies and rather focuses on tokenization as it leads to digitizing any asset including all the present available fiat currencies or stock adding to it he said,

“We talk about Libra and people say it’s just another crypto aside and talk about tokenization, because that’s what we’re talking about.”

As previously reported Facebook has already acquired a AI based chat bot startup so as to setup customer service Libra and also for the digital wallet provided by Facebook for its Libra currency.
