Microsoft, leader of the software operating system in the industry of computer software, wants to go with blockchain technology so that they can gain better success to give safety from piracy to their products.

The feature of Blockchain technology forces every tech company to adopt it. In recent months, Microsoft already supported Square platform to work on blockchain technology based work. Now Microsoft will use blockchain technology for their services.

No doubt that the majority of the population is using Windows Operating systems in their computers. Since it is true that Microsoft allows users to use their services free of cost with limited numbers of features, who can’t afford to buy. But there are huge numbers of people who rely on the product Services of Microsoft free of cost with the help of crack/patch engineering.

So now Microsoft is planning to fight against the pircay that they are facing for their many products. Company is planning to use the blockchain technology of Ethereum.

According to a research paper published by Microsoft’s researchers, including the participation of researchers from Alibaba and Carnegie Mellon University, they can fight against pircay with better potential with blockchain technology.

Their research reveals that a mechanism with the full privacy of the data protection of the users, a transparent distributed system, will report the pircacy used in the products.

“In the implementation, we overcome a set of unavoidable obstacles to ensure security despite full transparency.”

In their early stages of planning, they will use Proof-of-leakage consensus which will remain totally on the watermark algorithm. And they will do this work on the Ethereum blockchain network.

“The cost for piracy reporting is reduced to an equivalent cost of sending about 14 ETH-transfer transactions to run on the public Ethereum network, which would otherwise correspond to thousands of transactions.”
