Poly Network hackers returned half of the stolen assets

The hacker, who stole crypto assets from Poly network worth $600 million, returned only $340 million worth of assets so far. And also hackers claimed that they want to save the world.

On 10 August, hacker attacked Poly Network cross chain platform & stole crypto assets worth more than $600 million.

Later, the hacker claimed that he will return the stolen assets and demanded a multi-signature wallet. And also he claimed that he is not able to contact the Poly team.

Now, the hacker finally returned around half of the stolen assets. He returned $3.3 million worth of Ethereum & assets that he stole from Binance smart chain worth $256 also returned. And also USDC of worth US$1 million on the Polygon blockchain.

According to the record of the Polygon Scan, the hacker returned all the USDC coins of $84 million. The other assets that by hacker are returned Binance USD, Shiba Inu Coin, and Fei, an algorithmic stablecoin for decentralized finance (DeFi). 

But still the hacker didn’t return the assets that he stole from Ethereum network worth US$269. 

Dovey Wan, the founder of Primitive Crypto tweeted about this matter & claimed that a hacker is a dramatic type of person. And his intention was only to expose the vulnerability of the Poly network.
