Polygon Partners Community Gaming To Integrate E-Sports Platform On Blockchain Technology

Community Gaming, has entered into a long-term partnership with Polygon (Matic)

Layer 2 scalability solution for Ethereum (ETH) with having widespread adoption with 400+ Dapps, ~5M daily transactions and ~1.5M+ unique users. While the Polygon network has Its core as Polygon SDK a modular, flexible framework that allows the construction and connection of secure networks such as Plasma, Optimistic Rollups, zkRollsup, Validium etc and Standalone Chains like Matic POS, designed for flexibility and independence.

In a recent press release, the Polygon Network (MATIC) announced its partnership with Community Gaming, this new platform aims to provide e-sports infrastructure in a whole new environment with the support of the MATIC network

This new joint collaboration aims to host and conduct all the new esports tournaments that will be powered by the Community Gaming on Polygon’s smart contract environment.

Some of the most notable tournaments that are being conducted by the Community Gaming team on the Ploygon’s Network are Gods Unchained tournament and Axie Infinity tournament.

Reward distribution among successful players for collaboration between Polygon and Community Gaming was one of the first use cases. Thousands of players are competing each month for prize pools denominated in tokens Ethereum, MATIC and USDC based prizes will be sent to the tournament winners within three seconds with an average transaction fee of 0.0012 MATIC which is about (ca $0.001).

The two teams will host the $2,500 Skyweaver Tournament in mid-August, launching a crucial collaboration. It will feature NFT-powered card games and the tournament will be aired on Twitch.

Polygon co-founder and COO Sandeep Nailwal emphasized the importance of lightning-fast and affordable transactions for the entire community of decentralized e-gaming enthusiasts.
