Hester Pierce said that crypto companies should keep their fight momentum up against the SEC’s enforcement actions.

Hester Pierce has been a popular Commissioner at the United States Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) since Jan 2018. She is a highly crypto-friendly SEC Commissioner and in this innovative sector, she is known as Crypto Mom for her advocacy for the crypto sector.

Recently Hester appeared in an interview with the Binance-owned crypto news media Cointelegraph. Through the interview, Hester suggested crypto companies not give up in the journey to fight against SEC’s enforcement actions.

She said that this highly hostile situation would pass and all confusion would disappear. Hester admitted that the SEC agency never showed intention to regulate the crypto sector, but the regulators in other countries like Switzerland and Singapore did huge work to bring a crypto regulatory framework.

Many people think that the SEC agency is not aware of the crypto & blockchain and this is the reason why they are failing to bring regulation for this sector but Hester clarified there are many people at the SEC, who are aware of this innovative sector & technology.

SEC vs Crypto

Since the last couple of years, the US SEC has shown very strict behavior against the crypto companies and taken blind enforcement actions against several crypto companies, without providing clarity on the rules.

In recent months, Ripple & Grayscale like crypto companies scored regulatory wins against the SEC’s blind enforcement actions and currently, BinanceUS & Coinbase are in the queue to win the legal fight.

It is worth it is note that recently Solana (Sol) co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko urged the US Congress to step in the crypto regulatory development works so that crypto companies can run business on behalf of clear rules in compliance with the regulatory bodies.
