Senator Rand Paul asks whether crypto could ‘become world currency’

In an interview, Rand Paul tried to indicate his sentiment on Bitcoin and intended that the whole world may adopt crypto for payment.

In the present time, crypto adoption is at a tremendous level. Almost all the categories of the world are looking at crypto as how they can be regulated and can be used for better things.  Senate Rand Paul showed that he is bullish on crypto. 

Rand Paul recently appeared in an interview with  Axios. In the interview, Rand indicated that he is hopeful about the contribution of crypto to the global financial system. 

Rand Paul said that people are not giving trust over the government currencies e.g dollar. So obviously they are looking for a better option. And further he added 

“I’ve started to question now whether or not cryptocurrency could become the reserve currency of the world as more and more people lose confidence in the government.”

Rand Paul Crypto friendly name in industry 

During the 2016 presidential election 2016, Rand Paul accepted donations in Bitcoin. And that type of initiative by Rand made him a rock star among the young people of the US. And now we can see that at what level he is. 

Here the ideology of Rand makes him different from all traditional Kentucky Republicans. Now, Rand Paul is on the list of crypto-friendly senators. 

However, here the distancing from the dollar like Currencies doesn’t mean that government currencies have no value. All the things have their significance at their place. And here crypto & dollar will play their roles at their place, for instance, we can take the example of El Salvador that how they are using Bitcoin and dollar together in their payment structure.
