A lady from Canada is facing a very big issue because she supported the protestors with a total of $50 under the legal rules.
In the present time, the Canadian government imposed an Emergency Act in Canada to stop the protestors, which were spoiling the country’s growth. However, protesters are right at their decisions but the situation is not better because protesters are going more bullish and violent because of a counterattack by the government on the Convoy freedom campaign.
Brian (changed name) is a single mother from Chilliwack, contacted her local representative Mark Stahl, Member of Parliament for Chilliwack-Hope, and shared her situation under the Emergency Act of Canada.
According to Briane, she donated a total of $50 to the Convoy freedom campaign when it was legal and under law. But after the Emergency Act by the Canadian government, they froze her bank account. Now a $50 donation costs a very big amount for her because she is dependent on a simple low-income job.
The tweet also noted that the lady didn’t participate in the protests in any way. In the very beginning, she supported the protests against the situations in the country.
This is not only a single person in Canada, who faced such issues but also many people who faced the same issue and reached out to the contact support regarding this matter. Due to the Emergency Act, no one can do anything, at least until the protests will stop fully.
On this matter, different experts are suggesting different solutions. But a significant thing that can be seen is the solution of crypto adoption. If people can go through the crypto wallets then surely they will never face any kind of issues against such actions by the government agencies.
Recently Coinbase and Kraken’s CEOs suggested people transfer their funds to self-custodial wallets but later the Canadian government ordered stopping such kinds of promotions of self-custodial wallets and also agencies will do investigations if the CEOs of these exchanges violate any laws of the Emergency Act of Canada or not by tweets to suport protestors.
