Telegram gives $400,000 worth of TON tokens to Smart Contract Developers

Recently Telegram announced a coding competition so as to  build a smart contract for the new Telegram Open Network(TON) Blockchain.

As per the firm’s announcement on 24th of September the respective contest will have three parts with all the tasks included in it with a range of $200,000 to $400,000.

The respective contest will end on 15th of October.

The primary task of the contest is to build at least one or more smart contracts with the help of tools that will be provided via the TON Blockchain Distribution, as described in the TON contest documents.

While the other two tasks include the improvement suggestion session for the TON Virtual Machine and FunC, the contest also includes a TON Blockchain bug bounty contest as mentioned by the company.

As of now Telegram expects the smart contract developers to make at least one of the five smart contracts that may include a multi signature wallet a simple TON DNS Resolver, an asynchronous two party payment channel.

Telegram has even more prizes for Bug hunters as they will be paid even more for exploiting a bug In the system.

As per the firm If a firm manages to exploit a bug in there Blockchain and is able to steal funds from the wallet of another person they will be awarded with an hefty amount of $200,000 in addition to the $200,000 from smart contracts.

 The contest announcement comes with a notice that Telegram may soon launch its digital token Gram in the upcoming month while Telegram officially released the TON testnet explore r and node software on 6th of Sep.
