The Treasury Of USA Met With Crypto Experts To Discuss Crypto Regulations

The Treasury Department of the United States of America (USA) met with the cryptocurrency experts in order to discuss the crypto regulations in the USA, reported on 02 March 2020.

According to the report, the U.S. Treasury Department did a meeting of crypto industry leaders and experts in order to discuss the regulatory challenges for crypto assets.

“The U.S. welcomes responsible innovation, including new technologies that may improve the efficiency of the financial system, We must ensure that we balance innovation with the need to protect our national security and maintain the integrity of our financial system.”

Treasury Department said that they are usually working hard to protect the US investors from frauds and scams as well as preventing the misuse of cryptocurrencies by money launderers, terrorist financiers, and other bad actors.

They hardly commented that the cryptocurrencies use for illegal activities are hardly restricted and the US security department will not tolerate any consequences regarding illegal use of crypto assets.

In December 2019, A new draft bill is introduced by Paul Gosar, an Arizona Congressman aiming to clarify the cryptocurrency market regulations in the United States.
