Tim Draper – Argentina Should Legalise Bitcoin for Better Economy Growth

Tim Draper well known as Bitcoin Bull advice Argentina President to legalise Bitcoin and cryptocurrency in the country for better growth of the economy. Cointelegraph en Español reports on 22 March.

Argentina’s president Mauricio Macri met with Tim Draper on 20 March to discuss the economy of the country.

Draper explains the potential of Blockchain technology and how it can change the world. Draper further added that Bitcoin will improve the major problems in Argentina Economy. The inflation (devaluation) of the Argentine Peso (ARS) will improve.

“We were speaking of Bitcoin and the devaluation of the peso, and I proposed a bet: if the peso would be valued more than Bitcoin, I would double my investment that I was making for the country. But if Bitcoin gained a higher rate than the peso, they would have to declare it as a national currency. That would be a perfect decision, as there’s a lack of confidence in this coin.”

Tim further explains in the interview that the revolution of Bitcoin and Blockchain is much bigger than the Internet. Tim stated that this is the best time to adopt cryptocurrency in Argentina before the whole economy crashes.

Draper remains bullish in his prediction that Bitcoin will be worth $250,000 by 2022. He further explains that Bitcoin will cover 5 percent of the global share of all markets. He believes that as soon as people start to use Bitcoin as dollars, they choose Bitcoin over dollars.

Tim Draper also made a statement in February that only criminal will use fiat currencies after 5 years. He further added that Bitcoin will rule the world and change everything. Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao gives hints to open a fiat to cryptocurrency exchange in Argentina.
