UATP will accept Bitcoin for airlines, railway & hotel payments

Universal Air Travel Plan established a partnership with Bitpay to enable their clients to pay in crypto payments.

Universal Air Travel Plan (UATP) is an airlines owned payment structure. UATP is accepted by 300 airlines members and travel merchants. And these merchants will be able to pay in crypto for the ticket booking. 

UATP established a  partnership with Bitpay payment services. As UATP is accepted by thousands of merchants globally, all the merchants will get the option to pay in crypto. 

So, all the UATP platform users will be able to pay in dogecoin, ethereum, litecoin and six other popular cryptocurrencies for travel.

Bitpay tweeted about this partnership and stated that 

“UATP is tapping into crypto’s growing payment popularity to bring more than 300 airline members and merchants more payment options”

Stephen Pair, Bitpay CEO, also shared his point of view at this new feature and stated that crypto getting momentum and getting better trust for the payment purpose and also it is more better in case of high amount of payment and further added

“UATP’s broad network of airlines are also now capable of reaching millions of new global customers who choose to pay with crypto regardless of what wallet they hold since Bitpay supports all crypto wallets”
