Wharton school will accept crypto payments for their digital assets based educational program as a tuition fee.
Crypto education is a very important factor to push the adoption of crypto among the people. Education is only the key to pushing the whole world easily toward a better revolution with advancements in blockchain technology.
To push crypto education in the United States, Wharton school, premier business schools, stated that they will accept tuition fees through crypto payments.
In the sixth week, the cost for the educational program on digital assets and blockchain costs around $3,800. School management aimed to attract at least 1000 students in the US for their “Economics of Blockchain and Digital Assets,” program.
School management will accept crypto payment in the Coinbase’ wallet directly. But their payment adoption through Crypto mode will remain limited only for their digital assets based educational program only. While other educational programs will run on the traditional payment system.
Wharton is trying their best to push crypto education through an introductory way. They are providing their crypto education program through Coursera.
Crypto education initiative by Wharton
This year In May, Wharton got a gift in bitcoin. They got 118 Bitcoin in total, worth roughly $5 million. However, school management swapped bitcoin into fiat immediately.
But after that, School management started their initiative toward crypto education.
SkyBridge CEO on crypto education
Recently, the CEO of SkyBridge Capital shared his stance on crypto education. According to SkyBridge CEO, if people complete their homework on bitcoin by reading the Whitepaper on Bitcoin, created by Satoshi Nakamoto, then they will end up with an investment in it.
So according to him, crypto education is a much-needed part to push adoption.
