XRP Has the Highest Number of Daily Transactions Among All Cryptocurrencies
The daily transactions on XRP chain are skyrocketing in the past week. The daily XRP transactions are nearing all-time high of 1.70 Million transaction daily.
XRP has confirmed 1.66 Million transactions in the past 24 hours. According to Bitinfocharts, XRP registered more than 50% of daily cryptocurrency transaction in the past 24 hours. Ether (ETH) occupied the second place while Bitcoin (BTC) and Bitcoin Satoshi Vision (BSV) shared third place.
The last time when XRP daily transaction was back in the epic bull run of December 2017. The last week XRP has an average of 700k-800k daily transactions and a week after that the third-largest cryptocurrency was recorded 1.66 Million daily transactions. This is more than 100% growth in daily transaction in a week.
This is not clear what is behind the sudden surge in daily transactions volume. Maybe a possible reason is the Ripple’s upcoming event Swell next month. Another possible reason for the daily transaction skyrocketing is recent Ripple partnership with Moneygram payment services.
XRP is very close to break the all-time daily transactions and most likely that will break in the upcoming weeks. XRP is now trading at $0.03 and the coins show good growth in the past month.
